Preparation Time:
30 minutes Cooking Time: 2-3 hours Serving: 4-6
Instructions:
- Cut the meat into medium-sized pieces and wash thoroughly.
- In a large pot, heat the oil and fry the onions until they turn golden brown.
- Add the meat and fry until the color changes.
- Add ginger and garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add yogurt and mix well. Cover and let it cook on low heat for 2-3 hours or until the meat is tender.
- Once the meat is cooked, remove from heat and set aside.
- Heat a small piece of coal until it’s red hot. Place it in a small bowl in the center of the meat and drizzle some oil over it. Cover the pot with a lid and let it smoke for 5-10 minutes.
